4th of July BBQ

This 4th of July Bruce and Connie will be having a BBQ at 5 pm at their home. There going to have those who would like to come over after swimming at Ned's clinic and before the Stadium of Fire for dinner. If you want to come please RSVP that you will make it and bring a side dish to share with everyone. Comment on the blog or give Bruce or Connie a call and let them know. It looks like there's no one for swimming this year so it looks like we wont be at the pool beforehand.

Tatum and Zach Go National!

Tatum and Zach recently returned from the National History Day competition in Washington D.C. where all the stars were aligned in their favor and the History Gods smiled upon them. Tatum's team did a group performance entitled The Cuban Missile Compromise. She had to master the Boston accent because she played JFK. To our great surprise and excitement her team came in 3rd place in the nation. YEAH!

Her glory was a bit overshadowed when Zach, who did an exhibit entitled Jackie Robinson Keep His Cool, won the Lee Allen Baseball History award, landing him a whopping $5,000. I almost fainted. He also ranked 5th in the nation, which is an incredible feat in itself. Jackie Robinson is DA BOMB and the project felt charmed all along. No joke.

As for Washington D.C. . . . It is MASSIVE and AMAZING! Definitely a wide angle city. I'm head over heels in love with the place. For more photos visit my web album at http://picasaweb.google.com/debframp/FramptonBlog

Chase's Neighbor Killed in Apartment Fire

This fire was one house away from the house where Chase is living on the 19th of June. He actually ran out to the street to see what was going on and they wouldn’t let him or his companion back into their house. The other elders had to pick them up on the street and they had to go to District Conference in their pajamas. Pretty funny story, but sad situation for those who lost their loved one. The video is amazing and about 4 and ½ minutes into it you can see Chase’s house with the dirt backyard. The gas in the area is still off so they are taking cold showers. The video clip is at the bottom of this page. Take a look!

Listen to this song!

Laser Tag

It looks like the 3rd of July we are going to try to put together an hour of laser tag in Provo. If you would like to play and join let Jeremy or Alan know. We have had a fun time in the past and think this year will be even more fun then the last. If any other family members or friends would like to play the more people we can get the more fun it will be. As of Monday we have the Bushnell family who will make it, the Bruce Frampton family along with Jeremy's family and Chris and Rebecca and Heather and Kyle. Alan and Debbie's family. I think Alan mentioned some of Debbie's family wants to come also. If there is anyone else keep us up to date.

This is the main cabin that we will be staying in up at yellowstone if you would like to visit the website its www.islandparkidaho.com/hodgelodge.html The other cabin is at www.islandparkidaho.com/paradisepines.html
Remember the dates are July 13th to July 20th anyone traveling together from Provo we will be leaving Sunday Morning. We will want to get there by 3:00 or 4:00. The drive from Provo takes 5 hrs to get there.
Check back for future posts that will list the assignments that Jenn has sent out. We will also include any further announcements reguarding the reunion.
Grandma says, "Don't forget your swim suits, there is a lake there and hot pots"
By the Way...... This year the children will be performing the skits about their parents. So start writting those scripts.

Welcome

Welcome to the Boyd and Dixie Frampton Family Blog. Dixie/Mom/Grandma/Great Grandma is excited about getting a family blog started. Now that the family is getting so big and as we spread further and further across the world it is becoming harder to keep in touch and know what is going on with everyone. We would like this blog to be a place where everyone can share what is going on in their lives and in the lives of their children. It will be fun to hear from everyone. We would like everyone to contribute to this blog. Nothing is to little or to insignificant to share.
Check here for updates on family events and gatherings. We will do our best to keep this updated. The more people that add to this the more exciting it will be.
We love all of you and hope to read about what is going on in your lives.
Love,DixieAKAMom, Grandma, Great Grandma
